    Homemade Mango Popsicles

Is there anything better than a cold popsicle on a hot summer day? It’s pretty hard to beat!

These mango popsicles are so fun to make and made with only a few ingredients. I love to buy fresh mangos when they are in season at the grocery store. They are such a gorgeous fruit and I find that they are easy to add into recipes like smoothies, popsicles, and desserts.

    Ingredients Needed for Mango Popsicles

We’ve kept the ingredient list very short on this popsicle recipe!

Mangos: I prefer to use fresh mangos when I can find them. This recipe will take about 4 whole mangos which equals about 4 cups. Alternatively, you could use 4 cups of frozen mangos instead.

Yogurt: I use dairy free vanilla yogurt but you could use regular yogurt or greek yogurt if you prefer. The yogurt adds a creaminess to the popsicles that is really tasty with the pureed mangos.

Sweetener: We only use a little bit of sweetener from honey or maple syrup in this recipe. You could also leave it out if you wanted a less sweet popsicle.

Lime: The fresh lime juice adds a little zest to the popsicles.

    How To Make

Homemade popsicles are actually really easy to make. Start by blending all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor.

Blend on high until no chunks remain and the texture is smooth.

Pour the blended mango mixture into your popsicle molds, add popsicle sticks and freeze overnight or for at least 4-6 hours. Pop the popsicles out of the popsicle molds and enjoy!

    Tips For Making Popsicles

Use a popsicle mold: I highly recommend using a popsicle mold when making homemade popsicles. Amazon has a lot of options, these are the ones I use, or you can usually find some in home good stores. If your popsicle mold does not have a cover, use aluminum foil to cover and hold the sticks in place instead.

Create a yogurt swirl: If you want to make your mango popsicles look more interesting you can try adding a yogurt swirl. To do this, make the mango mixture as normal but only fill the popsicle mold halfway. Add a dollop of yogurt on top and swirl it in with a toothpick. Don’t stir too much or the yogurt won’t show up when it’s frozen. Fill the rest of the mold with the mango mixture and freeze as normal. Once the popsicle is frozen, you should be able to see a white streak of yogurt in the middle of your orange mango popsicles!

Customize flavor: Feel free to add additional fruit or ingredients to this mango popsicle recipe. Some suggestions would be adding pineapple, strawberries, or chia seeds.
