What is Valentine’s Day without chocolate truffles? Or maybe I should say, what’s any day without a little chocolate in it? These vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles are so simple to make, with only six ingredients, and easy to customize. They are indulgent and creamy, everything you’d want in a truffle and (dare I say) more!

Regular truffles just have chocolate in them but these things of beauty are made with chocolate and peanut butter! There isn’t a better combination, in my opinion.

These decadent truffles are also vegan and paleo. So if you want to impress your friends this Valentine’s Day or any day, whip up some of these bad boys. They are so simple to make, just follow the instructions below and you’re on your way to chocolate peanut butter bliss.

How To Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles

When I say they are simple to make, I mean it.

    1. First, place the peanut butter, dates, coconut flakes, coconut flour and cacao powder in a high powered blender or food processor.
    2. Blend the ingredients until fully combined and creamy.
    3. Roll the peanut butter mixture into teaspoon sized balls and place on a plate. Once all the mixture is rolled into balls, place the plate in the freezer. The balls will need to firm up before dipping in the chocolate, this will take about 20 minutes.
    4. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in either the microwave or stovetop.
    5. Dip the balls in the melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Cover entirely with chocolate and let the excess drip off. Then roll the balls in desired garnishes or top with flaky sea salt. Place the dipped balls on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
    6. Once all balls are dipped and garnished as desired, place them in the refrigerator to set.
    7. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy!
